In 1984—long before wellness was a trend or functional medicine was an accepted clinical approach—Professional Formulas began with a simple goal: to help healthcare practitioners achieve better health outcomes for their patients.

Back then, holistic health was a fringe practice. The supplement industry was unregulated. And if you were a naturopath, chiropractor, or whole-health-focused MD trying to support your patients with high-quality formulas, your options were limited. So we built something better—partnering with practitioners, sourcing clean ingredients, and crafting products designed for one purpose: clinical effectiveness.

Forty years later, we’re still doing exactly that.

Much has changed since then. Today’s shelves and online marketplaces are filled with shiny brands backed by corporations or private equity firms—or low-cost products that cut corners on quality. But we’ve remained family-owned and fiercely independent—for one reason: because it lets us put people first.

We don’t cut corners. We don’t chase trends. And we don’t answer to outside investors. Instead, we listen to the practitioners and patients who rely on us.
